Luther started off his career as an audit assistant in one of the top audit firms in Malaysia from the year 2004 to the year 2010. He was with the firm for nearly seven (7) years providing audit and business advisory services to a wide range of clients and listed clients in a variety of industries. His experience includes all areas of audit ranging from planning, testing, and reporting. He was promoted to audit supervisor and worked under the supervision of an Audit Manager and Audit Partner in the year 2008.

Subsequently, in the year 2010, he continued his journey to the commercial line whereby he was employed as the Finance and Accounts Manager for a Group of Companies and has been with the Group for about nine (9) years. The Group is involved in construction, quarry, property development, shipbuilding, vessel charterer operation and plantation businesses. His job scope includes managing the accounts, finance, treasury, and tax portfolio of the Group. His responsibilities also involve leading the accounting and finance department of the Group, reporting directly to the Board of Directors, liaising with auditors, tax agents, bankers, lawyers, and other external parties. He is well trusted by the Group to ensure that proper internal controls are in place.
